Telde JFA finishes first round Undefeated

After a solid victory in the local derby by 95-56 against Tara Escuela de Valores, our Senior team Telde Joel Freeland Academy, has passed all the tests during this season in which it remains undefeated in the National League of Senior First Division, winning nine of the first nine games, many of them by 20 points or more.

The Bulldogs will face, in the beginning of the second round, the team of Santa Lucia and then face a very tight schedule of games and Tournaments until May with the goal of qualifying to participate in the Regional Final 8.

» I see the gaps of mistakes keep shrinking and the Junior Players are helping us more and more every day,» said Rafa Calvo, Telde Joel Freeland Academy Head Coach. «And here’s what´s crazy: I feel like we’ve got a big room to get better, and I think they (the players) would say the same thing.»
